Mount Dora Spring Festival of Arts and Crafts

This annual event takes place on the streets of downtown Mount Dora, FL every year on the 3rd weekend of March.




The Mount Dora Spring Festival of Arts and Crafts was originally known as the Mount Dora Antique Show that took place in conjunction with the Antique Boat Show on the shores of Lake Dora in March. This event was created in 1997 to draw people attending the Boat Show into town to help the downtown businesses. When the boat event moved to nearby Tavares, FL the event evolved into the Spring Collectibles and Crafts Show. Today the event has no antique or collectible dealers. It features all hand craft items and original art but still draws thousands of people to downtown Mount Dora,FL as was the original intent of the event organizers. The Mount Dora Spring Festival of Arts and Crafts is presented by Visit Mount Dora.
The deadline for ARTISTS/CRAFTERS to apply is Dec 20. Business Branding/ Sponsors may continue to register for consideration after the deadline.
This is an outdoor event held on the streets of historic downtown Mount Dora, FL. The event consistently ranks in the Top 20 by Sunshine Artist Magazine in their annual ranking of the Best 200 Classic/Contemporary Craft Festivals in America based on vendor sales.
Every 3rd weekend in March, the streets come alive with 250 hand chosen exhibitors who showcase their unique talent to more than 50,000 visitors over 2 days. It is free to the public and features wine tasting, beer, cocktails and food vendors. There is no kid zone. There is no stage or paid line up of live music at this event. Buskers can play at corners with permission.
You MUST be the creator of the items in your booth. Retail, Buy-Sell vendors are NOT permitted.
HOW exhibitors are chosen: This is a quasi juried event. Time of application has no bearing on acceptance. On the deadline date, applications are closed and all files are categorized, reviewed and scored. The highest scoring exhibitors in each category are invited to participate. Everyone else in that category is placed on the wait list. The more UNIQUE your product is, the better chance you have of being accepted into this event.
The DEADLINE to apply is Dec 20. If you apply after Dec 20, you will be automatically placed on the Wait List and will be notified by email if space becomes available up to the weekend of the event.
2026 Fees: Booth fees for the 2-day event include the Base fee + tax + $25 admin fee. APPLICATION IS NOT A GUARANTEE OF ACCEPTANCE. You will be notified of your status via email. $280 single/$550 double for hand craft exhibitors and artists representing their OWN work. Cottage food industry vendors selling packaged goods to go may apply at this level.

Premium location requests on 4th Ave or Donnelly St +$50

Registration is NOT a GUARANTEE of ACCEPTANCE. It is the sole right of WTDI, INC to allow or deny participation in this event.

Every third weekend in March, the downtown historic walking district of Mount Dora comes alive with 250 hand-selected exhibitors showcasing their unique talents and offering handcrafted art and goods for sale. The event is free to the public and features wine tasting, beer, cocktails, and a variety of food vendors. While there may be face painting or a small craft activity, there is no designated kids’ zone. Come enjoy the experience, make a purchase, and help support the artists who enrich and sustain our creative community.

PARKING
Shuttles
The easiest way to get to and from the event is to take the hassle free shuttle. Shuttles run from Mount Dora Christian Academy 301 W. 13th Ave Mount Dora, FL Sun 9AM-5:30PM Any proceeds from parking benefit School programming.
There are NO SHUTTLES running from Mount Dora High School.
Parking lots
Public parking can be found across the street from 1st Methodist Church at 439 E 5th Ave, Mt Dora, FL 32757. The lot is small so look around for residents parking cars in their yards. They typically charge around $10-$15 per car and its worth it to get closer to the event.

Is there HC parking available?
Yes there will be HC parking behind City Hall at 510 N.Baker St. Spaces are limited. Your chances are better on Sundays or late in the day.
